Chris Cowman Swanson, owner of the One More Time Family of Consignment Stores in Columbus, OH

OUR HISTORY:
One More Time opened in September of 1975 in a small storefront on Grandview Avenue.  Former owner, Kate Holmes, moved the shop to its current location in 1985.  Shortly after the move, Chris Cowman Swanson (pictured above) was hired for just a summer job (ha!).  Over the years, Chris learned the ins and outs of running a consignment business and eventually purchased the store in January of 1996.  Since that time, One More Time has grown leaps and bounds by tripling the selling space, adding another store and expanded the customer base along with sales.  In March of 2004, Chris made the decision to open One More Time ETC, the furniture store, just two blocks west of the clothing store.  With a firm belief in helping others, both stores work closely with the community by donating unwanted items to various charities around the city.  In addition, we are proud members of the National Association of Resale Professionals (NARTS).

OUR DEDICATION TO OUR COMMUNITY:

Items that remain after the end of the consignment period are sold at rummage to support Nationwide Children's Hospital. Over the years, we have donated more than $200,000!
